Projects undertaken

M.Tech “Performance Enhancement of Flux and Torque Estimators for Sensorless Induction Motor Drives” –MATLAB7 and Implementation using DSP (TMS320F2812) using Code Composer Studio 2.

    Description: In this project flux and torque estimation at low speed is enhanced and the speed is estimated over wide speed range. The problem due to stator resistance and the integrator drift problem are solved by using a programmable low pass filter instead of an ideal integrator. This project is implemented using Texas instrument (TMS320F2812) DSP processor in real time.

 B.E- "Fully Automatic starter for slip ring induction motor(Rotor Resistance Starter)”

Description: In this project slip ring induction motor starter (Rotor Resistance) is implemented by using electronic circuits which automatically cuts the resistances added in the rotor circuit when the motor picks up the speed gradually. This project was very use full for sugar industries where a layman who has no awareness about slip ring motor may be operating it.
